Anchorage Delta Kappa Gamma Society Chapters

About This Award

The Anchorage Delta Kappa Gamma Society chapters present the Golden Apple Award to outstanding educators in the Anchorage School District. The Golden Apple award Criteria (revised Nov. 19, 2005) includes the following:
  1. A Delta Kappa Gamma member shall recommend recipients.
  2. Recipient should display dedication, achievement and service to education for at least three years.
  3. Recipient should be actively involved in an education-related position.
  4. Recipient should not have previously received this award.
  5. Recipient may be a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, with priority going to nonmembers.
  6. There may be more than one recipient at each school site.

A Note for Anchorage Area Delta Kappa Gamma Society Chapter Presidents and Members
Responsibility for the advertisement and the awarding of the Anchorage Area Council Golden Apple Award will be the responsibility of  Nu Chapter in 2022 and Zeta Chapter in 2023.  Information is available on the State website under "Connections".
